•After a 91-79 victory over Memphis, Temple looks to wrap the last home stand of the 24-25 season against Rice.
• Tiarra East and Kaylah Turner led all scorers with 21 points against Memphis. Jaleesa Molina (12), Anissa Rivera (11), Tarriyonna Gary (10), and Tristen Taylor (10) also reached double digits in points.
• Temple shot 50% (18-36) from the field in the first half, including 55% (6-11) from three-point range.
• The Owls allowed 33 points in the third quarter against Memphis, the most Temple has allowed in any quarter all season.
• The Owls had six players score in double figures against Memphis, the most since ECU in 2024.
• Memphis shot 51.8% from the field, the first time this season that Temple has beaten a team after allowing 50% shooting.
Scouting the Owls
• Rice heads to Philadelphia following a 73-48 victory over UAB.
• Dominique Ennis (12.6 points) and Malia Fisher (12.9 points) lead Rice in scoring this season.
• In the win against UAB, Victoria Flores (23 points) and Dominique Ennis (10 points) helped secure the Owls a victory. Ennis had a double-double following her 10 points and 10 rebounds performance. Â
• Rice's bench contributed to the victory by adding 24 points compared to UAB's 11 bench points. Â
• Wednesday night against UAB, Rice recorded a season-high 62 rebounds, resulting in 19 second-chance points. Rice had three athletes record 10 or more rebounds.
• In conference play, Rice has played two overtime games and has a 2-6 away record.
