NEWARK, DE – Temple battled Delaware in a hard-fought match, but the Owls came up short as the Blue Hens clinched the doubles point and won four out of six singles matches.

How It Happen
- In doubles play, Dante Russo and Maj Najvirt Kolaric delivered a strong performance, securing a 6-2 win over Karol Malirz and James Sclater to give Temple its sole doubles victory. Meanwhile, Martim Marujo and Adam Kresina fought hard but fell to Piotr Siekanowicz and Euan Mackenzie in a tightly contested match, 7-6(5).
- Marujo battled hard in singles against Siekanowicz, winning the first set 7-6(3), but his match was unfinished at 6-6. Kresina also found himself in a competitive match against Karol Malirz, but it too went unfinished, with Kresina leading 7-5, 4-5.
- On the other courts, Delaware's depth showed. Lock overcame Kolaric in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6(4), while Mackenzie defeated Russo 6-3, 6-4. Gluck made quick work of Aayush Bhat, winning 6-2, 6-2.
