PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's lacrosse is set to take on UMBC on Saturday at Howarth Field. The Owls are coming off a 3-14 loss to No. 16 Penn on Wednesday evening at Penn Park.

News in the Nest

Sarah Gowman, Lilly Caravela, and Lexi Culp each scored the Owls' only goals against Penn.
Gowman leads the team with five assists this season and is second on the team with 10 points, trailing senior Amelia Wright.
Lexi Culp, Erin King, and Gowman are tied for the team lead with five goals each. King and Wright lead the team in free-position goals with two.
Defensive anchor Sabrina Martin leads the team in ground balls with 11 and draw controls with 16.

Scouting the Retrievers

UMBC heads to Philadelphia with a 5-0 record this season.
The Retrievers picked up a 17-10 victory over William & Mary on Wednesday.
UMBC has also defeated American University, La Salle, Howard, and Delaware State.
