Women’s Rowing Announces 2025 Spring Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple Women's Rowing Head Coach Rebecca Grzybowski announced Tuesday morning the 2025 spring schedule. The schedule features eight events, one home race, and races in five different states across almost two-months.
 
 
The spring slate will kick off with a scrimmage against the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights in New Brunswick, N.J. The race will be held on Saturday, March 15.  The Owls will then compete in the 2025 Doc Hosea Regatta on Saturday, March 29. The regatta will be on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J.
 
The Cherry and White's only home race of the spring season will be on Saturday, April 5 on the Schuylkill River against the University of Delaware Blue Hens. The following weekend the Owls will hit the road again and compete in the 2025 Knecht Cup. The two-day regatta will begin on Saturday, April 12 and will be on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J.
 
 
Temple will then travel to Virginia Beach, Va. to take on the Old Dominion Monarchs on Saturday, April 19. One week later, the team will be in Ypsilanti, MI. on the Ford Lake to compete in the Ford Lake Cup.
 
As the season enters May the first event will be in Worcester, Ma. for the Women's Sprints on Sunday, May 4. Temple will then return to local waters for the final event of the season, taking part in the Dad Vail Regatta. The regatta will begin on Friday, May 9 and run through the 10th.
