Providence, RI – Men's tennis battled hard but came up short against Brown, falling 5-2 on Sunday afternoon. The Owls fought to gain momentum but dropped the doubles point before securing two singles victories, while the Bears capitalized on key matches to seal the win.

How It Happened
- In doubles play, Martim Marujo and Adam Kresina could not complete their match against Alex Finkelstein and Zander Bravo, leaving it unfinished at 5-4. Brown clinched the doubles point with wins on courts two and three. Lukas Phimvongsa and Oliver Worth defeated Pranav Nemani and Aayush Bhat, 6-3, while Noah Hernandez and Toby Luo secured a 6-3 victory over Alberto Blumenschein and Erden Er.
- In singles action, Maj Najvirt Kolaric delivered a hard-fought win for the Owls, battling through two tiebreak sets to take down Oliver Worth, 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (13-11). Blumenschein added another point for Temple, prevailing in a third-set super tiebreak against Bravo, 6-4, 6-7 (7-4), 10-5.
- Brown found success across the remaining courts. Hernandez defeated Bhat, 6-2, 6-4, while Phimvongsa secured a 6-2, 6-3 win over Nemani. James Lian followed with a 6-4, 6-2 victory against Er. At the No. 1 spot, Marujo pushed Finkelstein to three sets but fell just short in a 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 close match.
