Men's Soccer Alum Alex Cagle Named to Temple University's 30 Under 30 List

PHILADELPHIA- Temple Men's Soccer alum Alex Cagle was recently named to Temple University's 30 Under 30 List. A 2018 graduate, Cagle was recognized for his contributions to renewable energy innovation and sustainability. His work at Noria Energy has helped advance the deployment of floating solar technology, an emerging solution for clean energy generation.

Noria Energy specializes in designing and deploying floating solar arrays, an innovative renewable energy solution that maximizes solar efficiency while conserving land space. By installing solar panels on bodies of water such as reservoirs, hydroelectric dams, and wastewater treatment ponds, the company helps reduce water evaporation and improve energy efficiency.

As an Owl, Cagle made 43 starts over his four-year career with 123 total saves and a career .719 save percentage. A 2015 Scholar-Athlete Sports Excellence Award Winner, Cagle ranks fifth in program history with a 1.05 goals-against average and is third all-time with 21 career wins. His ten wins during the 2015 season are tied for the fourth-most in program history.
