The Owls closed out the regular season with a 60-54 victory over Charlotte on Tuesday, marking their sixth consecutive win. With the victory, Temple secured the number four seed in the AAC Tournament and earned a double-bye. The Owls will face Charlotte again in the quarterfinals on Monday, March 10, at 3 p.m.

•The Owls finished the regular season with a 60-54 win over Charlotte on Tuesday, earning their sixth straight victory. Tiarra East (18 points), Kaylah Turner (11 points), and Tarriyonna Gary (10 points) were the leading scorers for the Owls against Charlotte.
• Temple finished the season with a free throw percentage of 73.1, which ranked second in the AAC. The Owls were third in the AAC in steals, with 9.6 per game.
• Defensively, Temple finished second in the American Athletic Conference in turnovers forced per game at 19.07. The Owls were first in turnover margin at 3.48.
• Temple was fourth in the AAC in bench points with 19.8 per game and fourth in Offensive Rebounds, averaging 13.5 a game.
• Tristen Taylor ranked 23rd in the country in the Assists/Turnover ratio, at 2.44, and was also number one in the American Athletic Conference.
Scouting the 49ers
• Charlotte secured a 55-51 win over FAU in the play-in round of the AAC Tournament in Denton on Saturday. They followed up with a 71-66 victory over Tulsa in the first round of the tournament on Sunday.
• After a loss to Temple on Tuesday, Charlotte ended the season on a three-game losing streak. Their last win before that came against FAU, where the 49ers won 58-53 in Charlotte.
• Charlotte has experienced both a seven-game losing streak and a three-game losing streak.
• The 49ers finished the season with a 4-14 record in conference play and a 4-10 record on the road.
