Men's Rowing Wins Bergen Cup on Senior Day on the Schuylkill

PHILADELPHIA - Temple men's rowing had a standout day on the Schuylkill River picking up two victories at the 2025 Bergan Cup. The No. 16 ranked Varsity 8 boat and the second varsity boat took the top spot in their respective races against Philadelphia rival programs.

HOW IT HAPPENED -

The V8 boat earned a first place finish by over three seconds. The 16th ranked boat finished on top of No. 17 La Salle by 3.5 seconds.
The No. 14 second varsity boat finished in a similar fashion to the V8 as they topped the No. 15 Explorers by 3.1 seconds, finishing the race in 6:36.40.
The Owls were edged out in the 3V8 race, finishing the day in third place in a time of 6:49.10.
