PHILADELPHIA – Men's tennis fought hard against city rival Drexel Univeresity but fell short as the Dragons secured the doubles point and clinched the match with three singles victories.

How It Happen

The Owls struck first in doubles, with Erden Er and Alberto Blumenschein earning a 6-3 win at the No. 3 spot, but Drexel secured the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 2.
In singles play, the Dragons clinched the match behind straight-set wins at the No. 3, No. 5, and No. 6 positions.
Matches at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 went unfinished, with all three Owls battling deep into third sets before play was halted.
