Temple Lands Transfer Saniyah Craig

PHILADELPHIA - Jacksonville University forward Saniyah Craig has signed with the Temple University women's basketball team, head coach Diane Richardson announced Monday.Â
Saniyah Craig earned Third-Team All-ASUN honors after a dominant year in the paint. She set Jacksonville's single-season rebounding record with 326 rebounds, averaging 11.6 per game, and was the only player in the ASUN to average a double-double. Craig led the conference in rebounding, ranking ninth in the country in rebounds per game and second in offensive rebounds per game. She also set a Jacksonville record with 23 rebounds in a single game, posting a season-high 27 points against Eastern Kentucky.Â
Craig was named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team in 2024 after a standout debut season at Jacksonville University. She started 26 of 27 games and led the Dolphins with 199 total rebounds, including 75 on the offensive end and 137 on defense. Craig shot 46.0 percent from the field, made 91 field goals, and scored 272 points over the season. She also converted 87 free throws and recorded five double-doubles. Craig also ranked second in the ASUN in rebounding and was honored as the ASUN Freshman of the Week three times during the 2023-24 season.
