Owls Set for Sunday Clash with Delaware

PHILADELPHIA -Â The Temple University men's soccer team will play its second match in four days on Sunday night as the Owls will host the Delaware Blue Hens at Temple Sports Complex on Sunday, Aug. 24. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with the action streaming exclusively on ESPN+. Â After one match apiece, Temple is 0-1-0 and Delaware is 1-0-0.

This will be the 53rd all-time meeting between Temple and Delaware. The Owls have a 34-10-8 series advantage against the Blue Hens, with their last encounter taking place in 2019 in what was a 1-0 Temple win.

- Temple contained the St. John's offense to a lone goal Thursday night. Dating back to last season, the Temple defense has surrendered one goal or fewer in six of its last seven matchups.
