Owls Travel to Dover for Clash with Delaware State

PHILADELPHIA — Temple women's soccer is looking to keep the momentum going as the Owls head to Dover, Delaware, to take on Delaware State on Thursday night at 6 p.m. at Drass Field. Temple comes off a tough 1-0 win over Le Moyne at the Temple Sports Complex (TSC).

Temple has kicked off the season 2-0 at home for the first time since 2015.
Sabrina Campbell is leading the way with two goals, while Valentina Bitterwolf has taken the most shots with nine.
Shari Atkins has also chipped in with two assists so far.
In goal, Claudia Viau made a great impression in her first collegiate start, earning a 2-0 shutout against Le Moyne and making two important saves.

Scouting the Hornets

Delaware State comes into the game with a 1-1 record, including a 1-0 win over Alabama A&M and a 0-2 loss to Manhattan on August 19.
Nicole Cargill has scored the Hornets' only goal this season, and Frederika Kibassa Maliba Ntumba has the lone assist.
Goalkeeper Johoanna Hornyak has made 13 saves this year, while Azjah Tocher has added three.
