Dominant Team Performance Propels Temple to Victory in Home Meet

AMBLER, Pa. - Temple men's and women's cross country ran Friday evening in their 3rd Annual Temple Owl Cross Country Invitational. The men's team placed first out of six teams with a combined score of 35. With a first-place finish from junior Simeon Shappell-Smith. Three other owls finished in the top 10.
On the women's side, freshman Rose Tuomisto had an impressive debut run, placing 10th. Villanova took first in the women's 4k with a total of 26 points as they had five athletes in the top 10. Temple placed fifth out of seven teams after combining for 134 points.
