Owls to Face Ohio State in Wolstein Classic Finale

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Temple University men's soccer team will play in its second match of the Wolstein Classic on Sunday night against the host Ohio State Buckeyes. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with the action streaming exclusively on Big Ten Plus. Entering the matchup, the Owls have a 0-2-1 record while the Buckeyes enter Sunday 1-1-1.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Temple and the Ohio State Buckeyes. With this matchup, Ohio State becomes the sixth Big Ten opponent in program history, joining Maryland, Michigan State, Penn State, Rutgers, and Washington.

Scouting Temple
- The Owls enter Sunday following a 0-0 draw against No. 25 Dayton. Goalkeeper Diego Dauzier recorded the first clean sheet of his collegiate career, earning six saves in the process.
- Temple's offense surged late, with three corner kicks in the last fifteen minutes of play.
- This is Temple's second consecutive season playing on the road in Ohio. Last year, the Owls won 1-0 against the Akron Zips in the Buckeye State.
- The Buckeyes were victorious in its first match of the Wolstein Classic, downing Oakland 1-0. Will Arsen scored the lone goal of the match in the 55th minute.
- Ohio State finished with a 16-2-4 record in 2024, earning a trip to the College Cup as a number one seed before falling in the semifinal to Marshall
- Brian Maisonneuve is in his seventh season as head coach of the Buckeyes. He has a combined career record of 51-53-22 with two trips to the NCAA tournament.
