Owls Aim to Get Back on Track Against Monmouth

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's soccer is back on the road this weekend, heading to West Long Branch, N.J. to take on Monmouth this Sunday at 1 p.m. The Owls are looking to bounce back after a tough 2-1 loss at Delaware State on Thursday night.

News from the Nest

Temple had the edge in several key areas against Delaware State, outshooting the Hornets 17-9 and dominating corner kicks 8-1.
Freshman Valentina Bitterwolf leads the Owls in shots with 10 so far this season, while junior Shari Atkins is right behind her with nine.
Sabrina Campbell and Ariana Gronauer each have two goals on the year to lead the team, with Atkins, Bitterwolf, and freshman Maddie Ward also having scored this season.
In goal, Tamsin Bynoe has tallied 12 saves in her four appearances, while Claudia Viau has made six saves in three matches.

Scouting the Hawks

Monmouth comes in at 2-2 on the season, riding back-to-back wins over Binghamton and Bucknell. The Hawks picked up a 2-0 win over Binghamton on August 24, and followed it up with a 3-2 victory against Bucknell on August 21.
Summer Reimet is Monmouth's top scorer so far, with three goals and one assist.
In net, Tallulah Miller has made 15 saves across four starts, holding a 2-2 record on the year.
