Lukic, Dauzier Collect Philly Soccer Six Weekly Honors
9.1.25 | Men's Soccer
PHILADELPHIA - After a 0-0 draw against No. 25 Dayton and a tight 2-1 finish versus Ohio State, Luka Lukic and Diego Dauzier each received honors from the Philly Soccer Six. Lukic was tabbed as both the Defensive and Rookie of the Week, while Dauzier was named Goalkeeper of the Week.
Lukic showed his prowess on Temple's backline in each match, playing a crucial role in keeping the Flyers off the scoreboard on Thursday afternoon. Lukic made numerous goal-stopping plays this week as the freshman from Austria has made a strong early impact for the Owls this season.
Dauzier recorded the first clean sheet of his collegiate career against the No. 25 Dayton Flyers on Thursday afternoon, hauling in six saves in the process. This was the second start of the 2025 season for Dauzier, previously being in goal for Temple's season opener against the St. John's Red Storm, where he only surrendered one goal. The second-year goalkeeper will aim to build on this run when the Owls face Army on Friday night from West Point.
The Owls will next take the field on the road on Friday, Sept. 5, when Temple will face the Army Black Knights. The action is slated to start at 6 P.M. with the match streaming exclusively on ESPN+.
