Temple Men’s Hoops Announces 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Highlighted by seven home games, a trip to Walt Disney World for the Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational and the third annual Toyota Big 5 Classic, the Temple University men's basketball team announced its 2025-26 non-conference schedule on Tuesday.
"We're really excited about our non-conference schedule," said Temple head coach Adam Fisher. "Playing three games in three days at the ESPN Events Invitational will give our team a great opportunity to prepare for the intensity of conference play and the American Conference Tournament. We're also thrilled to welcome some outstanding programs to the Liacouras Center and to challenge ourselves with true road games at Villanova and Davidson, along with playing in an NBA arena for the Big 5 Classic."
Temple opens the season with four home games, hosting Delaware State (Nov. 5), La Salle (Nov. 11), Boston College (Nov. 15) and Hofstra (Nov. 19). The Owls will look to continue their success at the Liacouras Center, where they posted a 12-2 record last season on North Broad.
The Owls will then head to Disney World for Feast Week in Kissimmee, Fla., competing in the Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational (Nov. 24-26). Temple opens the multi-team event against defending Big West champion UC San Diego (Nov. 24) at State Farm Field House. Depending on results, the Owls will face either Bradley or Princeton (Nov. 25) before concluding the tournament on Nov. 26. Potential opponents for the final day include Rhode Island, Towson, Liberty or Vermont.
Temple travels to rival Villanova (Dec. 1) for its first true road game to begin December, then competes at Xfinity Mobile Arena in the Philadelphia Big 5 Classic tripleheader (Dec. 6). The Owls could potentially face Drexel, Penn or Saint Joseph's in South Philadelphia.
The Owls return home to the Liacouras Center for games against Georgian Court (Dec. 9) and defending Northeast Conference champion Saint Francis (Pa.) (Dec. 14), before their final non-conference road contest at Davidson (Dec. 18).
Temple's last test before American Conference play will be at the Liacouras Center against Princeton (Dec. 22), just before the holidays.
Tipoff times and the American Conference schedule will be released at a later date.
