PHILADELPHIA – The Temple men's soccer team fell to Florida Atlantic on Sunday afternoon by a score of 3-1. Nathan Brown scored in the first half for his first goal of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Florida Atlantic reached the back of the net early with a goal in the first minute to give FAU a 1-0 lead.
The Owls looked to respond early with shots from Elliot Rigbert and Charlie Votel in the first ten minutes. Nathan Brown would eventually break through with a goal in the 22nd minute.
While this score held through the remainder of the first half, FAU would respond in the 59Th and 72nd minutes, holding off Temple for a 3-1 win.

BY THE NUMBERS

Brown's first-half goal was his first of the year. He previously led the Owls with shots in a match against Missouri State (Sept. 12).
Adrian Panaite added to Temple's offense with two shots.
Elliot Rigbert recorded the assist on Brown's goal. The Sophomore from Sweden currently leads the team with three points this season.
