Men's Soccer to Face Monmouth in Non-Conference Matchup

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. -Â The Temple University men's soccer team will head back on the road Friday evening in a non-conference matchup against the Monmouth Hawks. Entering the contest, Monmouth holds an overall record of 4-3-1.
Scouting Temple
- Nathan Brown scored his first goal of the season against Florida Atlantic last Sunday.
- With his assist against FAU, Elliot Rigbert leads the Owls in total points this season with three. The Sophomore from Vaxholm, Sweden, previously scored against Army (Sept. 5).
- Diego Dauzier has been the starting goalkeeper in Temple's last four matchups. The Owls currently lead the American Conference with 34 total saves.
Scouting Monmouth
- Monmouth enters Friday night following a 1-0 win at Hofstra last Saturday. Raul Garcia scored for the Hawks as the club now has a 2-1-1 record in CAA competition.
- This will be the third contest for Monmouth against Philly Soccer Six competition, previously defeating La Salle and conference foe Drexel.
- Robert McCourt is in his 22nd season as head coach of the Monmouth Hawks. The program finished the 2024 campaign with an 8-2-6 record, falling in the first round of the CAA Tournament to UNCW.
Series History against Monmouth
This will be the third all-time meeting between the Owls and Hawks, with their last meeting last season ending in a 2-0 Monmouth win.
