Owls Head to Florida to Take on FAU

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's soccer heads to Boca Raton, Fla., this Sunday to take on Florida Atlantic at 1 p.m. The Owls are looking to bounce back after a narrow 1-0 loss to No. 25 Rice on Thursday night at the Temple Sports Complex.

Temple was outshot 12-4 in the match against Rice, including a 9-2 margin in the second half.
Goalkeeper Taylor Vecchione made five saves in the 1-0 loss to Rice.
Valentina Bitterwolf and Teagan Harkins led the offensive effort for Temple, recording two shots each.

Scouting the Opponent

Florida Atlantic enters Sunday's match with a 3-7-2 overall record and a 0-2-1 in conference play. FAU is coming off a 2-2 draw against Tulsa on Thursday night.
Sloane Young leads FAU with six goals this season, while goalkeeper Ashley Small has recorded 27 saves after facing 97 shots through 12 matches.
