Molina’s Career Night Not Enough as Owls Fall to Tulane

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple women's basketball team (7-9, 1-3 American) fell to the Tulane Green Wave (7-10, 1-4 American), 71-58, at home Tuesday night. Junior Jaleesa Molina led the Owls with a career-high 20 points and recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 10 rebounds.

How It Happened
First Quarter
  • Tulane got on the scoreboard first with a three-pointer from Kendall Sneed.
  • Drew Alexander hit a three to pull the Owls within two, 7-5.
  • Alexander dished it down low to Saniyah Craig for an easy layup, making it 9-7 Tulane.
  • Jaleesa Molina tied the game at nine with a bank shot.
  • The Green Wave regained the lead on a three from Jordyn Weaver.
