  • Temple came up short against the East Carolina Pirates, falling 81–65 in Greenville on Saturday afternoon.
  • Kaylah Turner led the Owls with 17 points, shooting 6-for-18 from the field and 3-for-10 from beyond the arc. Tristen Taylor added 16 points, while Saniyah Craig scored 14 and Jaleesa Molina finished with 11.
  • Felicia Jacobs tied a season- and career-high with eight rebounds.
  • The Owls were outscored 24–10 in the fourth quarter, marking their lowest-scoring quarter of the season. ECU tallied 20 assists, while Temple recorded eight — the Owls' second-lowest total this season.
Scouting the Bulls
  • The reigning American Conference champions, the USF Bulls, come into Philadelphia riding a five-game winning streak. The Bulls hold a 12–7 overall record and are 5–1 in conference play.
  • USF's only loss in league action came against Rice on December 30. Since that defeat, the Bulls have picked up wins over North Texas, UAB, Memphis, UTSA, and Wichita State.
