PHILADELPHIA – After a week one performance at Rutgers three Owls were recognized by the East Atlantic Gymnastics League for their performances. Sophomore Robyn Dunne was named Specialist of the Week, Brooklyn Thomas was named Rookie of the Week, and Ava Sutphen was named Rookie Specialist of the Week.
Dunne, the Louisville, Colo. native, capped off a strong opening meet of the season. The sophomore competed on the bars and the beam, finishing within the top four overall in each. Her bars routine resulted in a 9.825, tying her for first place overall and setting a new career-high on the apparatus. That score put her in fourth place overall.
