- Temple heads to Tulsa coming off a 70–50 win over Wichita State on Tuesday night, snapping a two-game losing skid.
- Kaylah Turner, Jaleesa Molina, and Saniyah Craig each scored 13 points, while nine different players found the scoresheet for the Owls. Saniyah Craig recorded double-digit points for the first time since the Michigan State matchup on Nov. 28.
- With the win over Wichita State, Temple secured its first true road win of the season.
- Six out of the seven wins for Temple this season have all been by 20+ points. The only win that wasn't came against George Mason. The Owls are 7–0 when leading going into the fourth quarter.
Scouting the Hurricane
- Last season, Tulsa finished right behind Temple in the conference by placing fifth. They had an overall record of 17–15 and went 11–7 in conference play.
- According to the preseason poll, they are projected to finish eighth this season.
- The Hurricanes enter the game on a four-game win streak, with their most recent victory coming against Tulane, 76–73.
- They had three players register double-digit points. Hannah Riddick and Mady Cartwright each had 20+ points. Riddick went 9-for-16 from the field. Tulsa also had six different players score a three-pointer.
- Cartwright leads the team in points with 230 through 14 games, giving her an average of 16.4 points per game. Her 65 field goals and 31 threes are also a team high.
- The Hurricanes are 1–6 all-time while hosting the Owls, with their lone win coming on Feb. 10, 2015, by a score of 75–67.

- Jaleesa Molina, Tristen Taylor, and Kaylah Turner have been named team captains for the 2025–26 season.
- Taylor and Molina are the only returning starters from the 2024–25 roster.
- Taylor averaged 6.7 points and a team-high 3.6 assists per game last season.
- Molina averaged 7.4 points and seven rebounds per game while shooting 52.5% from the field.
