Pisarski Records Top-20 Finish at Wexford Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Freshman Nicholas Pisarski closed in 17th place individually to lead the Temple men's golf team in the Wexford Intercollegiate, hosted by Francis Marion. As a team, the Owls finished 11th, defeating teams from Dayton, Saint Joseph's and Cornell.

- Pisarski posted a two-over par round of 74 on Tuesday, the best 18-hole score on the team.
- The freshman tallied 13 pars and two birdies on his round and finished the 54-hole tournament with eight birdies to lead the team.
- Sophomore Mason Tomé had a run of three birdies over five holes en route to an even-par 36 on the back nine on Tuesday.
- Tomé was the second-best finisher for Temple with a three-over par 75.
- Charleston shot even-par 864 over three rounds to win the team championship by nine shots over Xavier.
- Miles Eubanks led the way with a nine-under par showing for the tournament, which was good for medalist honors by one shot in front of Western Carolina's Tyler Jones.
- The Owls are off to Puerto Rico for the Dorado Beach Collegiate on Feb. 22-24.
