  • Temple women's basketball pulled out an overtime thriller Saturday evening, defeating the Tulane Green Wave, 67-65, in New Orleans.
  • Kaylah Turner led the Owls with 27 points, shooting 10-for-17 from the field and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. With her second-quarter three-pointer, Turner eclipsed 1,000 points for her collegiate career.

  • North Texas enters the matchup as the fifth-best team in the American Athletic Conference, holding an overall record of 12-10 and a 6-4 mark in league play. Last season, UNT finished second in the conference and was picked sixth in this year's preseason poll.
