Craig, Turner Named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's basketball standouts Kaylah Turner and Saniyah Craig were both named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Turner put together an impressive season, ranking 71st nationally and second in the conference with 430 field goal attempts. She shot 40.5% from the field, good for fourth in the conference, while leading the league in total field goals made with 174. Turner also topped the conference in total scoring with 484 points and led in scoring average at 16.1 points per game.
From three-point range, Turner ranked 39th nationally and second in the conference, shooting 40.3%. She also knocked down 73 three-pointers, the fourth-most in the conference and one of the top five single-season marks in program history. She recorded eight 20-point performances and two 30-point games, highlighted by a career-high 36 points against Princeton.
Craig also made a strong impact, ranking 100th nationally and fourth in the conference with 135 free throw attempts. She finished sixth in the conference in total rebounds with 234, including 99 offensive and 135 defensive boards. Craig also averaged 7.9 rebounds per game, placing eighth in the conference.
