PHILADELPHIA – The Temple women's basketball team (14–16, 8–10 American) defeated the Florida Atlantic Owls (13–17, 7–11 American) at home on Saturday afternoon, 84–56.
Kelian Cedano led Temple in scoring with 16 points (7-for-11 FG), setting a new career high. She also went 2-for-4 from behind the arc and grabbed a career-high six rebounds. Savannah Curry added 12 points after shooting 4-for-6 from the field.

Temple will travel to Birmingham, Alabama, on Tuesday for the American Athletic Conference Tournament. The Owls' opponent has yet to be announced.
