Turner Named All-Conference, Craig Earns All-Newcomer Honors

IRVING, Texas – Temple women's basketball players Kaylah Turner and Saniyah Craig both earned American Conference honors, as Turner was named Second Team All-Conference while Craig was named to the All-Newcomer Team, the conference announced on Monday.

Kaylah Turner ranked 71st nationally and second in the conference in field goal attempts with 430. She also finished fourth in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 40.5%. Turner ranked first in the conference in field goals made with 174.

Turner finished first in the conference in total points with 484 and in points per game, averaging 16.1.
From beyond the arc, Turner ranked 39th nationally and second in the conference in three-point percentage at 40.3%. She also ranked fourth in the conference in three-pointers made with 73, which ranks among the top five single-season totals in Temple women's basketball history. Turner recorded eight games with 20 or more points and two games with 30 or more points, including a career-high 36 points against Princeton.

Saniyah Craig ranked 100th nationally and fourth in the conference in free throw attempts with 135. Craig finished sixth in the conference in total rebounds with 234, including 99 offensive rebounds and 135 defensive rebounds. She also finished eighth in the conference in rebounds per game, averaging 7.9.
