Stankavage and Gowman Received Weekly American Honors

PHILADELPHIA- Kaitlyn Stankavage and Sarah Gowman earned weekly honors from the American Conference following Temple's win over Towson and a hard fought battle against Rutgers. Stankavage was named Defensive Player of the Week, while Gowman earned Honorable Mention recognition.

The senior midfielder, Stankavage, matched her career high with four draw controls and totaled seven across the two contests. She also recorded three ground balls and three caused turnovers in the overtime victory against Towson.

Gowman recorded a hat trick in both games, finishing the week with six goals and two assists. She also added seven ground balls across the two contests.
