Temple Set to Face Vanderbilt Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's lacrosse is set to host Vanderbilt on Saturday, April 11 at noon at Howarth Field. Following the game, Temple will recognize 12 seniors for their hard work and commitment both on and off the field.

OWLS IN THE NEST 
Temple is coming off a 17–7 win over Old Dominion, snapping a four-game losing streak. Lexi Culp and Amelia Wright led the Owls with four goals each, as nine different players found the back of the net. Temple also outshot the Monarchs, 33–16.

The Owls forced 10 turnovers in the win, led by Kaitlyn Stankavage with three caused turnovers. She also added one assist, three ground balls, and five draw controls, marking her 13th consecutive game with at least one draw control.

Sabrina Martin led the team with six draw controls and a career-high four assists.

Freshman Brooke Mazzei contributed two goals, three ground balls, one caused turnover, and three draw controls.

SCOUTING VANDERBILT
Vanderbilt enters the matchup on a three-game winning streak, with victories over Charlotte, ECU, and Lindenwood. During that stretch, the Commodores have averaged 15 goals per game.

Bailey Lower leads Vanderbilt with 20 goals this season and is one of nine players on the roster with double-digit goals. Alex Gladding anchors the defense with 21 caused turnovers and 26 ground balls. In goal, Emme Martin has recorded 91 saves on 285 shots faced.

Temple leads the all-time series, 9–5.

The Owls will play their final road game of the regular season, traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina to face Charlotte. First draw is set for noon.
