Women’s Rowing to Compete at Knecht Cup Regatta

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – The Owls are back on the river this weekend for a two-day event on the Cooper River at the 2026 Knecht Cup Regatta. Temple will be launching six boats on the Cooper for this weekend's races: varsity eight, second varsity eight, third varsity eight, varsity four, and two second varsity fours.
The Owls will be competing among many different schools from across the country but will have eyes set on the few others that are also a part of the Mid-American Conference. Eastern Michigan, UMass, and Delaware will also be competing at the Knecht cup this weekend.
Temple comes into this weekend off an undefeated slate of races last weekend at the Old Dominion Double Duals. The Owls topped the Monarchs in the four races against them and went undefeated against MAC member High Point.

The Owls will be off next weekend but will be back on the Schuylkill River on Saturday, April 25 when the team takes part in the Kelly Cup hosted by the Drexel Dragons.
