Tomé Earns First Top-Five Finish of Career at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - Sophomore Mason Tomé tied for fourth individually to lead the Temple University men's golf team at the Princeton Invitational over the weekend.
Tomé posted rounds of 68-73-73 to finish one shot out of runner-up position. Princeton's Reed Greyserman ran away with the individual title with a seven-shot victory, with Harvard taking the team title.

- After a small hiccup on his second hole, the par-3 11th, Tomé put together an impressive stretch of golf over the next 12 holes.
- The West Palm Beach, Florida native went three-under par over that stretch to move into second place individually.
- Though the final four holes were tough sledding for the sophomore, Tomé closed the 54-hole event with the top individual finish of any Owl this season.
- Playing as an individual, Darren Nolan put together his best round of the tournament at three-over par 74. The round included one of the 11 eagles all tournament on the 490-yard, par-5 12th hole.
- For the tournament, Tomé tallied 14 birdies to tie for third among the 75 golfers in the field.
- The Owls round out the 2025-26 season at the American Conference Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Members Club in Sarasota, Fla.
