REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. - The Temple University men's crew team will look to build on an impressive start to its spring season with a trip to California for the California Invite. The two-day event will feature some of the top teams in the country, with races commencing at 9:00 a.m. PT on Saturday.

ABOUT THE OWLS
  • Temple's spring slate began on Saturday, March 28 with races at Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J.
  • The Owls' top varsity eight boat, ranked No. 19 entering the event, defeated No. 16 La Salle and No. 18 Georgetown.
  • The second varsity eight also picked up victories over the Explorers and Hoyas.
  • The trip to California is the first for Temple's men's crew team since 2023 when the Owls took on Stanford, Oregon State, and Santa Clara.
