PHILADELPHIA – Temple men's soccer (0-7-2, 0-3-0 American) lost a close one at home on Saturday night, 2-1, to the Charlotte 49ers (4-1-3, 2-0-1 American). It marked the end of a three-game homestand for the Owls.
How It Happened
Temple was able to strike first for the first time this season. In the 37th minute, Nathan Brown sent a cross into the box and Carlos Rojas (3) leaped up and sent a header into the back of the net. The Owls would go into the locker room up, 1-0.
Charlotte controlled most of the second half, which led them to scoring scoring in the 80th and 88th minute. Giving them a 2-1 victory over Temple.
