800M: 2:17.30 - Princeton Invitational (April 16, 2016)
1500M: 4:53.60 - Philadelphia College Classic (March 19, 2016)
2016 OUTDOOR: Set two personal records in 800m and 1500m with times of 2:17.30 (Princeton Outdoor Invite) and 4:53.60 (Philadelphia College Classic), respectively… Helped the 4x4 relay finish in first place with a time of 4:16.73 at the Philadelphia College Classic.
2016 INDOOR: Set season-best marks in both the 800 and 1000-meter races, posting a time of 2:17.37 in the 800 (David Hemery Valentine Invitational) and 3:04.34 in the 1000 (Great Dane Classic)… Placed 69th out of a pool of 192 runners at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in the 800-meter race... Named to Temple’s Director’s Honor Roll for having a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
High School: Earned 10 letters in cross country and track & field at Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia…Served as team captain for all three squads as a senior and was also the cross country team captain as a junior…Earned all-state second team honors as both a junior and senior…Earned All-American honors as part of the Germantown Friends sprint medley relay team which placed fourth at the New Balance Indoor Nationals…Three-time all-league honoree in both cross country and track…Team won the PAISAA cross country championship, the FSL cross country championship and the PAISAA outdoor track championship in all four years of her career…Part of the second-place distance medley relay team at the Penn Relays as a sophomore and won All-American honors with that relay team (outdoor) as well as the 4xMile team (indoor) at the New Balance Nationals.
Personal: Is undecided on a major at Temple but will be enrolled in the honors program…Both parents, Lynne Andersson and Stephen Anderson, teach at Temple.
