James R. Price III joined Temple Athletics in 2023 as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach while pursuing his Master's degree in Sport Business. He now serves as a full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach, overseeing performance for Temple's Cheerleading, Dance, Men's Tennis, and Track and Field programs, while also assisting with Football and various Olympic sports.
Price began his coaching career as a strength and conditioning intern at East Carolina University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology. His early experience in the field helped shape his coaching philosophy, which emphasizes discipline, precision, and long-term athletic development. He is a Certifies Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
A native of Monroe, North Carolina, Price is committed to fostering a high-performance environment built on hard work, mutual respect, and a relentless pursuit of excellence across all sports he supports.
