HS ...a high school teammate of former Owl LB Matt Powell ... three-year varsity football letterwinner, playing DE, LB and RB under head coach John Capidice ... had 68 tackles and eight sacks as a senior to earn all-state honors and garner selection to the R.I.-Conn. All-Star Game ... four-year varsity track & field letterwinner that earned all-state honors five times ... twice all-state in the outdoor shot put ... also All-State in outdoor discus and indoor shot put ... All-Herald and All-Courant honoree that twice won conference championships in the shot put and was a double-event winner in the class MM shot and discus.
