Beth Ward joined the Temple Athletics staff as an assistant athletic trainer in July, 2017, to work with the men's and women's cross country teams as well as the women's gymnastics team.

Ward came to Temple after completing her master's degree in athletic training at West Chester University in May, 2017. During her two years in school, Ward served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Ursinus College, primarily covering women's gymnastics while also assisting with football and track & field.

From 2012-15, Ward lived in Texas, first working as a certified athletic trainer at the Texas Health & Wellness Center in Allen for one year before spending two years at Heritage High School in Frisco as the head female athletic trainer.

Ward earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Greensboro College in North Carolina, and was an athletic training student throughout her four years there. In 2016, she was awarded a Research and Education Foundation Scholarship from the National Athletic Training Association (NATA). She has been a certified athletic trainer since 2012, and a licensed athletic trainer in Pennsylvania since 2015.
