Green Selected to Compete at NCAA East Regional

PHILADELPHIA — Amira Green will represent the Cherry & White at the 2025 NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville, Florida. Green is set to compete in the high jump on Day 4 at 2:30pm ET.
About Green
> Senior Pennsylvania native Amira Green delivered standout performances throughout the season, winning the high jump at three meets; the Towson Invitational, the Sam Howell Invitational, and the Penn Relays college section, with a season-best mark of 1.74 meters. In her final appearance at the AAC Outdoor Championships, she secured a fifth-place finish, clearing 1.70 meters.
>During the indoor season, Green placed fourth at the AAC Indoor Championship, achieving a season-best height of 1.75 meters. She also finished fourth in the high jump at The Dr. Sander Scorcher and took third at both the Quaker Invitational and the Penn Select. She opened the indoor season with back-to-back victories in the high jump at the UPenn Open and the Widener Classic. Consistently strong throughout her collegiate career, Green has finished in the top 10 in the high jump at both the AAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships for five consecutive seasons.
About the NCAA East Regionals
> The men's events begin at 10 a.m. ET on May 28, while the women's events begin at 10 a.m. on May 29.
> Green will all compete on May 31, when the first round of the high jump will take place, the high jump is set to start at 2:30 p.m. ET
> The top 12 individuals in each event will earn a spot at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, which runs from June 11-14 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
