Jarret Klein enters his first season as Temple’s coordinator of internal operations.
A native of South Brunswick, N.J., Klein joined the Owls after earning a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from The College of New Jersey in December 2012.
Klein worked as a member of the Super Bowl champion New York Giants staff as a pro personnel intern in 2011. He assisted the special teams coaches with charting of all practices sessions during training camp. He also provided film study and charting of upcoming opponent’s special teams units while assisting in the development of weekly advance notes. Additionally, Klein compiled injury research, and researched and updated team rosters and depth charts.
In 2012, Klein served as the football analytics intern for Giants, compiling learning situations for coaches and players, helping prepare scouting reports on opponents, evaluating tendencies and trends of upcoming opponents, as well as preparing offense and defense self-scout reports.
