2011: Started all 13 games at left guard … one of nine Owls to start every game … also played on the field goal unit … saw action at left tackle as well … o-line combined for 147 starting appearances … providing great protection, the o-line gave up no sacks against Wyoming, Ohio, Buffalo, and Akron … lettered.

2010: Played in all 12 games with two starts at right guard, one start at left guard, and four starts at left tackle… also played on the field goal unit … moved to right guard for the Ohio game and recovered the first fumble of his career in the fourth quarter … started at left tackle in the win at Army ... received the starting nod at guard at No. 23/20 Penn State … lettered.

2009: Redshirted ... played in three games with one start at right tackle … received the starting nod against Buffalo … saw first action at No. 5 Penn State … missed the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

2008: Played in all 12 games with six starts ... also saw action on the field goal unit ... received the starting nod at left guard at Army ... also started at Buffalo and at No. 16/15 Penn State ... also played at left tackle against Central Michigan, Ohio, and Navy ... lettered.

2007: Played in all 12 games with 10 starts at right guard ... one of 20 true freshmen to see game action and one of 12 true freshmen to earn a starting role ... made first start at Connecticut and continued to start at RG for the remainder of the season ... had a tackle at UConn ... named the coaches[apos] offensive player of the game at Ohio where he graded at 90 percent ... lettered.

High School: A 2007 graduate of the Trinity Pawling (N.Y.) School ... played OG, TE and DE under head coach Dave Coratti, making 27 tackles in eight games ... posted 149 tackles, 10 sacks, nine FFs, four INTs, eight receptions for 220 yards and 35 pancake blocks in varsity career ... earned All-League, All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-Section honors on the gridiron ... earned varsity letters in basketball ... averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds per game ... transferred to TPS after attending Peekskill HS, where he helped the basketball team to consecutive state titles in 2005 and 2006.

Personal: Born July 16, 1988, in Queens, N.Y. … son of Derek and Lashanna Dennis … has three younger sisters— Deshawn (17), Shaianne (13), and Amaya (12) … first cousin Curtis Kelly played basketball at Kansas State … third cousin Dexter Coakley was a three-time Pro Bowl honoree, playing 10th NFL seasons at LB for Dallas and St. Louis … family also has a close friendship with former Owl OT and NFL All-Pro Tré Johnson, a PHS grad ... received his bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in August 2011 … enrolled as a non-matriculated graduate student.
