Malachi Timberlake

Malachi Timberlake joined the Temple Football staff in July 2025 as the assistant director of recruiting.
Timberlake spent the past three seasons as head football coach at Pleasantville (N.J.) High where he inherited an 0-10 team and turned it around, posting a 15-5 record in his first two seasons at the helm. Over that time, he developed two dozen all-conference players. He began his coaching career in 2020 as an assistant at Pleasantville and spent a season at his alma mater, Cedar Creek, in 2021.
The Atlantic County, N.J., native went on to play college football at ASA College in Brooklyn, N.Y., before becoming a two-year starter and all-conference defensive back at FIU in 2018-19. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2020.
