- As a senior, helped the Elks to a 20-9 record and a state title game appearance

- His brother, Mo, was a teammate at UTSA and also played basketball at SMU
- His brother, Kebba, played basketball at Notre Dame and Penn State (Adam Fisher helped recruit Kebba as associate head coach of the Nittany Lions prior to the 2022-23 season)
- His father, Baboucarr Sr., played basketball at IPFW and professionally
