High School: Earned a total of 10 varsity letters in cross country and track at Montgomery High School...Named to the all-conference second team in cross country as a senior...Qualified for the indoor state championship in the 3,200m and made the all-county first team for that event...Team was co-division champs, conference champs and county champs in his senior year...Qualified for the outdoor state championships in the 3,200m as a junior and was part of a school-record setting 4x800m relay team...Made varsity in the mile as a freshman and ran a 4:52.
