A 2005 graduate of Temple University, Lynsey Grace returns as an assistant coach for the 2008 season.
Grace spent last season as the assistant softball coach at New Bedford High School, where she primarily instructed the hitters and outfielders. In 2006, Grace was a member of the Philadelphia Force professional softball team and in 2005 was drafted by the Harlem Diamonds professional team.
A four-year member of the Owl Softball team, Grace was a two-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection (2002, 2004) and was named to the 2002 A-10 All-Tournament Team. A multiple A-10 Player Of The Week honoree, Grace was also twice voted to the North Carolina All-Tournament Team. Grace is currently ranked second on the all time career home run list with 13.
Grace was a member of Temple[apos]s first softball team to ever win the Atlantic 10 Championship in 2004. The 2004 team continued on to be the first Temple softball team to ever make a Regional appearance. She currently places in the top 10 for nine statistical All-time career hitting records lists at Temple. Of the nine she is tied for first in runs.
She has also spent time as a referee and softball instructor in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
A graduate of Temple[apos]s Sport and Recreation Management, Grace is currently pursuing a master[apos]s degree in sport administration.
