Meg Barber
Meg Barber begins her fourth season at Temple University in 2015-16. She works primarily with the post players.

She is instrumental in the development of American second-team All-Conference honoree Natasha Thames and All-Freshman honoree Taylor Robinson.

Barber joined the Owls in June 2012 after seven seasons at William & Mary. She was an assistant coach for the Tribe for five years before being promoted to associate head coach in 2010.

Barber's recruiting efforts led to William & Mary developing one of the top frontcourts in the Colonial Athletic Association. She was instrumental in landing some of the most talented recruiting classes in Tribe history, including all-rookie honorees Taysha Pye (2009), Emily Correal (2010), and Kaitlyn Mathieu (2010).
In addition to recruiting, Barber's responsibilities included post development, opponent scouting, scheduling, assisting with conditioning, and practice planning. She also served as the program's liaison to compliance and as the director of the William & Mary Basketball Camp.

In Barber's seven years, the Tribe posted four of the top five rebounding seasons in school history, the top three seasons in total defensive rebounds, and the top two seasons in total offensive rebounds. Barber's players helped put 92 new entries on W&M's rebounding lists since 2005-06.

Prior to joining the Tribe staff, Barber spent three seasons at Utica College in New York as an assistant coach. At Utica, Barber was responsible for film breakdown, scouting,  and team defense, as well as coordinating recruiting visits. Additionally, Barber monitored Pioneer student-athletes in their academic progress, while assisting in game scheduling. Her communications activities included serving as the co-director for the Utica College Girls Basketball Camp from 2002 to 2004.

Barber enjoyed a standout career at New York University, where she graduated in 2002 with a bachelors degree in economics. A four-year member of the Violets’ women's basketball squad, she helped lead the team to NCAA Elite Eight appearances in 1999 and 2001, as well as two ECAC Metro Championships. She was named the ECAC Metro Most Outstanding Player in 2000 and 2002. Barber played in every game during her four-year career, starting in all but two of those games. She is ranked seventh on the Violets' career scoring list with 1,228 points.

Barber is a native of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.
