GETTING TO KNOW SATORIA BELL...
Your friends call you: Sic (Sic Wit It)
What makes you laugh? Anything, lol
Favorite college class? Art Of Acting
Advice you’d give a young athlete? The same amount of attention you want to receive from coaches should be the amount of attention you put into your school work and your sports.
Favorite thing about Philly? Never a dull moment.
What is your dream job? To be a paramedic.
Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions? For pre-game I like to turn on music and dance
Your greatest sports moment: Hitting a 3-pointer in the regional championships vs. Hutchinson CC to put my team up by two with seven seconds to go. We ended up winning that game to advance.
Your secret addiction is: Slow Jamz
Favorite quote: "If you're comfortable you're not growing, and if you’re not growning, you're wasting time."
Who are your role models? My mother Sophia Bell, lil’ sis Brooke, Grandma Althea, and Lebron James.
One TV show you can’t miss: Jersey Shore
Your biggest pet peeve is: I hate when I’m walking and someone steps on the back of my shoe.
Why did you decide to come to Temple? A part of me felt as though I owed it to my city to return and showcase my talents where I first learned the game, and for my family to have the chance to watch me play. The other part of me decided to choose Temple because of the coaching staff. I’ve seen nothing but opportunties here after meeting them.
Favorite food? Macaroni
Favorite movie? More Than A Game (Lebron James)
Do you come from an athletic family? No
What’s your favorite shot on the court? Left-handed layup.
What’s something most people don’t know about you? I’m good at imitating people.
