Noreen Dougherty joined the Temple Athletics Strategic Communication in September 2019. Dougherty, who will be Temple's primary contact for women's basketball, men's and women's cross country and track & field, has worked on the communications staff at three different institutions. Â
The Milford, Mass. native first experience came during her senior year at Roanoke College ('17), where she assisted with field hockey, soccer and volleyball. Upon graduation, she served as an athletic communications intern in the spring of 2018 at Endicott College, serving as the primary men's tennis contact.  Â
Most recently, Dougherty worked as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications for Stevens Institute of Technology for the 2018-19 academic year. In her role at Stevens, she served as the primary communications contact for 10 varsity sports while also coordinating the video streams for the department's home athletic events.
Dougherty resides in New Jersey with her husband, Ray.Â
