Prior to her arrival on North Broad, Vitale spent three years as the Member Services and Athletics Director at Philadelphia's The Sporting Club at the Bellevue. In addition to overseeing all aspects of the Club's athletic curriculum, Vitale developed basketball leagues, racquetball tournaments and taught spinning classes.
A 2003 graduate of Lock Haven University, Vitale led the Lady Eagles to three straight NCAA Division II Elite Eights and a #5 national ranking. Vitale made an immediate impact at LHU, becoming the leading freshman goal scorer in 1999 and sparking a three-year run of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and Regional Championships. She also served as a coach at the LHU Soccer Camp throughout her four years in Lock Haven.
After graduating with a degree in recreation management and fitness management, Vitale continued to stay active in the soccer and fitness worlds. She was a three-year starter, five year member overall, for the United Hungarian Elite Women's Soccer Team and competed in nine different road races, culminating in a third place divisional finish at the 2005 Broad Street Run.
A South Philadelphia native, Vitale was a four-year starter for St. Maria Goretti's girl's soccer team, finishing as the school's all-time scoring leader in 1999. Her jersey was retired in 2004, just before the all-female Catholic school merged with the all-male Bishop Neumann.
Vitale is pursing a master's degree in elementary education.
